A lot of ball court systems are designed to purely look good, but:

Are you happy - with a system that can be difficult to install, especially when accommodating site gradients?

Are you happy - with a system that may incorporate lass gauge materials such as weld mesh in their construction?

And more importantly (especially to the user):

Are you happy - with a system that has square goal posts? Or with a system that, if you want to play a one-two off the wall to go round an opponent, you get a strange rebound off a protruding circular post, which ends up giving possession to your opponent who goes onto score?

At Ludus we have designed our ball court system not only to look good but also:

its heavy duty construction allows it to withstand the day to day rigours of usage with minimal maintenance

it's installer friendly and can accommodate a gradient up to 1:75

And for the user:

our flush fitting panels and posts give a true rebound

our protruding circular goal posts give rebounds as a goal post should

our curved corners - manufactured from the same paneling as the rest of the court - help play to continue and not get stuck in a corner.

We have designed and built a system to benefit providers and users alike.

Now that you have created a multi-use games facility it may be that not everyone wants to play at the same time, or maybe thay don;t want to play at all- just watch the game or talk with friends

By adding spectator seating or subs benches, more people can be encouraged to use the facility for yet another purpose.

Site Gradients

Not all sites are level, in fact most need to slope to drain off water. It's not a problem; our system is designed to accommodate cross falls of 1:75 so no worries of unsightly gaps appearing under the panels

Flush Fixing Panels

All panels fit neatly in line with the posts, creating a flush playing surface - ideal for those, one-two's off the wall.

Protruding Goal Posts

Goal posts and cross bars are circular and protrude slightly from the surrounding panels so that any shots hitting them give the real goal post effect and feel.

Corner Detail

The advantange of curved corners over traditional square corners is that they help keep the ball moving and play to continue, as well as reducing the likelihood of creating a litter trap.

Heavy Duty Construction

Goal Posts and Cross Bars - 114mØ x 3.2mm

Square Posts - 100mm x 100mm x 3.2mm

Panels - 50mm x 40mm flow forge mesh panels,
25mm width flat bar and twist.

Back Board - 12mm thick white/black compact grade                       laminate.

Finishing

Panels - choice of galvanised and powder coated or               zine plated and powder coated.

Posts - choice of galvanised and powder coated or             shot blast, zinc rich primer and powder             coated.

Lean Backs

A simple yet useful addition to any games area.

Integrated Subs Benches

An integrated seating assembley with roof feature, this type of addition gives the feel of the seating actually being part of the court.

The subs bench assembley can be fitted integral into 1m, 2m or 3m high rebound fencing.

The roof detail gives the impression of enclosing the seating whilst still allowing players to be part of the action.

Or maybe adding the integral seating is not enough; why not add a seperate meeting shelter? By colour co-ordinating the shelter it can be made to appear an integral part of the multi-sports facility.
